Cooking cakes with ham on kefir:

Step 1: Prepare the kefir.

Kefir must be laid out in advance from the refrigerator so that it warms up to room temperature. At the beginning of cooking, pour it into a cup or glass, add soda, sugar and salt. Stir everything with a whisk or teaspoon. You will hear a joyful hiss with which soda reacts with a fermented milk product. Your task is to wait until this reaction passes.

Step 2: Prepare the cheese.

While kefir is being prepared, take the cheese and grate it on a fine grater, and it will be even better if you grind it in a food processor or blender.

Step 3: Cook the dough.

Pour kefir mixed with salt, sugar and soda into a deep plate, add grated cheese and begin to knead the dough, gradually adding flour. In the end, you still have to leave the mass aside to let the kefir finally wet the flour. While the dough is infused, take care of the filling, and then divide the finished homogeneous mass into several equal balls.

Step 4: Prepare the ham.

Peel the ham and cut the meat into thin, small cubes or grate.
Instead of ham, you can use ordinary sausage or some sausages, sausages, sausages.

Step 5: Form the cakes.

Prepare the cooking surface by sprinkling it with flour. Lay out one of the balls made of dough and roll it into a cake, but not very thin. Then lay in the middle pieces of ham and cover the edges of your product.

To make the cake neat, roll it again, finally closing the edges.

As a result, you should get this, almost a round pie, filled with ham. In conclusion, make sure that your tortilla has no holes and is not too thin.

Step 6: Fry the tortillas.

Put the pan on medium heat, heat sunflower oil in it and fry the cakes to a delicious golden crust on both sides. During cooking, make sure that there is always oil in the pan, pouring it as needed, and the fire is not too strong and the products do not burn. Well-done ham cakes can be served.

Step 7: Serve the ham and yogurt cakes.

Serve hot cakes with ham to the table, make coffee or tea with them, and during the afternoon they will be good with tomato or sweet juice. That's all, enjoy delicious pastries with a hearty filling inside.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Kefir, from which you will knead the dough for tortillas, should be fresh, not sour. It’s not a good habit to try to cook something tasty from spoiled and peroxide foods.

- You can also add cheese or green onions, as well as other herbs to the ham filling.

- It may take a little more or a little less wheat flour, everything will depend on the quality of the ingredients.
